Overview:

In this webinar, we will explore the hazards related to the laboratory on many fronts. To understand the laboratory work environment as it relates to safety, the employer must consider what the materials the workers are exposed to on a daily basis.

Why you should Attend:

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has a laboratory guide for occupational exposure to hazardous chemicals in laboratories. However, some employers do not follow the OSHA regulations leading to many complaints against them to OSHA. Employers are then subject to an OSHA inspection that can lead to costly violations.

Additionally, the workers compensation costs increase as there are more injuries and illnesses related to recordable injuries. It is imperative that laboratory is free from any recognized hazard.
